Located across the sea from the Gateway of India and accessible by ferry is island of Elephanta that has rock cut cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Spend the afternoon exploring the city with a visit of Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum, Dhobi Ghat and a drive past Hanging Gardens and Marine Drive.Overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast transfer to airport to take the flight to Aurangabad check into hotel, later excursion of Ellora caves, The Ellora caves, locally known as â€˜Verul Leniâ€™ is located on the Aurangabad-Chalisgaon road at a distance of 30 km north-northwest of Aurangabad, the district headquarters. The name Ellora itself inspires everyone as it represents one of the largest rock-hewn monastic-temple complexes in the entire world. Ellora is also world famous for the largest single monolithic excavation in the world, the great Kailasa (Cave 16). Overnight stay at hotel.
Early morning breakfast, full tour of Ajanta, AJANTA is world's greatest historical monument recognized by UNESCO located just 40kms from Jalgaon city of Maharashtra, India. These caves were discovered in AD 1819 and were built up in the earlier 2nd century BC-AD. Most of the paintings in Ajanta are right from 2nd century BC-AD and some of them about the fifth century AD and continued for the next two centuries. All paintings show heavy religious influence and center around Buddha, Bodhisattvas, incidents from the life of Buddha and the Jatakas. Overnight stay at hotel.
Following breakfast morning is at leisure and afternoon transfer to Airport to take the flight to Mumbai, upon arrival transfer to your international airport to take the flight to your hometown.
